Installation Requirements 

For travel router setup, the requirements are very few and basic. You need not go on a hunt to find them as everything comes inside the package contents apart from three things. So what you need is:

 

• GL iNet travel router 
• An Ethernet cable
• A power adapter

 

All these three things are given in the GL iNet router package. Apart from them the only requirements are a wifi enabled smart device like laptop, smartphone, computer, iPad or a tablet. Travel Router Setup Guide

✓ Switching On The Router

First step for a travel router setup is to power it on. To do so join the micro USB cable to the power port of the router. Moving forward, put in the power adapter into the vacant power outlet. ✓ Connecting To The Router

Before initiating the reset, remember that your travel router should be properly booted up. If you turn on the router and don’t let it boot up and immediately press the reset button, then it will lead you to uboot failsafe mode. So here are the two simple steps for reset:

 

✓ First be sure that the device is on and the power LED is stable. 

 

✓ Now for 10 seconds hold the reset button. As you release the reset button, the reset completes. 

 

Alternatively if you are able to access the web admin panel of your travel router then you can also reset from there. What you need to do is from the admin panel’s left bar select more settings option. Thereafter click on revert firmware. As you do so all your data will no longer be available.
